What is OKLCH?
OKLCH is a perceptually uniform color space, meaning equal numerical changes look like equal visual changes to the human eye — unlike HSL, where the same lightness value can look much brighter for yellow than for blue. It's supported in all major browsers and is becoming the preferred way to define colors in modern design systems.
About the contrast ratios
Contrast is calculated using the WCAG 2.x relative-luminance formula. AA requires 4.5:1 for normal text; AAA requires 7:1. Use the result as a quick check, not a guarantee — context and font weight matter.
